Black Physicians of Canada (BPC) is a registered charity addressing structural anti-Black racism in medicine, healthcare, and medical education. Research shows that physicians and medical learners form a critical link in addressing the health inequities experienced by the more than 1 million Black people in Canada, but Black physicians face institutional barriers and microaggressions. Through our mentorship program, research initiatives, and national community gatherings, BPC supports more than 400 Black physicians and medical learners to have the opportunities, leadership roles, and influence to support their lifelong careers. This will allow them to more actively combat and reverse intersecting health disparities that impact Black communities across Canada. Be a part of supporting the next generation of physicians in Canada.
